OFFICER REPORTS

Commodore

The meetings with the city waterfront manager was cancelled; business to discuss is  the BCDC permit status; moving of wood chip pile away from club fence; hoist/dock maintenance; and plans for the bay trail & parking lot re-pavement got cancelled; trying to re-schedule for mid-May.  Officially appointing the banquet chair, Kathyrn.

First Vice Commodore

We are buying some new anchor rode bags for the Bahias. We received some spars for the JYs.

Rear Commodore

Thanks to all who came for the First Aid class on Thursday. Nine members have been certified. We need to run a new one, on a weekend day as it is hard to get to attend on a weekday. John Taussig is offering Sunday June 5, Sunday June 19 (out as we have a OH that day) or Saturday June 18. Timeline would be 10am to 5pm. John says he can take up to 24.

Thanks to John Bongiovanni for printing and laminating new Junior Dinghy Tests. I emailed club members regarding the upcoming GMM/Elections at CSC on May 22 at 6pm after Open House.

*NOTE: Excomm meeting was reopened 6:36pm and closed at 6:39pm in order to vote on this motion. The same members of Excomm were present with the exception of Sophie Horiuchi. Notably, Horiuchi’s co-Port Captain Anthony Lunnis was still present. The reopening was because the original motion to adopt the budget expenditures did not include adopting the spending. This language was added in order to clarify Excomm’s intention with the earlier motion and was unanimously adopted.
