Cal Sailing Junior Dinghy Fast Track Program

Fast Track Sailing Courses are intensive sessions designed to teach you the skills required for a Dinghy Junior rating. The Fast Tracks typically consist of 5 consecutive evenings (usually 5-8pm) of sailing lessons, running from Monday to Friday nights, with one-on-two instruction. As in other sports, intensive instruction will improve your skills rapidly. You'll be on the water for over two hours each session, have a debrief with your instructor afterwards, sharing food and drinks.

We had a fantastic Fast Track 2023

5 session with 80 students, and 312 volunteer days as instructors, testers, cooks, cleanup crew, and other things. Lots of Novice and Junior ratings earned, but more importantly, greatly improved sailing skills after 5 days of intensive instruction.

Thanks to all who helped, and we are already thinking about next year. As usual, we will start in early May and go through the end of August. And we are thinking about something special this time.
